Walnut is a rich sandy to dark chocolate timber with a lighter sapwood.
Walnut is dimensionally very stable which makes it an excellent choice for flooring, lining and joinery timber.
The natural character of Walnut makes it a warm yet striking timber that is sure to impress.
Premium
Our Premium grade is predominately clean and has the most consistent colour across the timber.
Nearly Free of Knots
Limited Pin Knots, Twig Knots, and Burl
Predominantly heartwood with limited sapwood allowed.
Rustic
Our Rustic grade has all the natural features that makes solid timber a wholly unique and beautiful flooring option.
All knot sizes, character markings and splits/cracks are permitted as long as they are fillable.
Greater mix of heartwood and lighter sapwood.
