Solid Timber Flooring

We mill our solid hardwood timber flooring from our range of exquisite Australian, American and European timbers.

All of our solid timber flooring is tongue-and-groove and end-matched for uniformity across our range. This also improves installation while reducing the waste that typically comes from traditional strip flooring installations.

We have nurtured a reputation for consistent and precision milling of our solid hardwood flooring. Our customers trust us to provide the same high quality product time and time again.

Flooring Thicknesses

Most of our solid hardwood flooring is available in 19mm and 14mm thicknesses - there are advantages to both sizes depending on your specific situation.

For flooring widths - see the individual timber pages.

  • Our 19mm flooring can be re-sanded many times over the floor's life to keep it looking fresh.

A 19mm flooring option is popular where:

    • existing sections of the same thickness flooring are being replaced.

    • a seamless transition between your solid timber floor and tiled areas is necessary or preferred (ie from living areas to kitchens).

    • you want a truly solid feeling underfoot.

If you are installing your floor directly onto flooring joists, you will need 19mm flooring.

  • The 14mm is our overlay size.

It is a popular option when the flooring is being installed onto a solid sub-floor (eg yellow tongue or concrete).

As this flooring does not require the same level of structural rigidity of the 19mm, we are able to maintain a generous cover above the tongue-and-groove despite it being 5mm thinner.

Our 14mm flooring is perfect for new builds and renovations alike.

  • Custom thicknesses are available subject to availability and price.

Please speak to us if you wish to discuss custom options.
